I can’t believe we are just days away from Christmas and the New Year!!  What  happened to 2008?  I remember getting excited it was summertime and now we are getting ready for a new year.

I know everyone is hurting from the economy and that does play into what you spend over the holiday season.  I have cut back, but I will be with family and loved ones and that is the best gift of all.  I know it’s hard to get a child to understand about money being tight.  I’m dealing with that with my daughter, but she is trying to understand that Mommy and Santa just don’t have a lot of money this year.  But she will get presents and lots of love.

I have my shopping done except for the gift for my sweetie but that is something I need to think on for a bit.

And I still have holiday baking to get done….time needs to slow down for the next week….LOL!!
